Sky Farm LIC Events

Sky Farm LIC runs a series of special events throughout the year! All proceeds from events go directly back into supporting the operation of the farm, including: funding our free student and community programs, free community workshops, and the production of thousands of pounds of produce distributed for free every year to our community!

Special events are tailored to mirror the seasonality of our work and the produce we grow on our rooftop. Each is a totally unique experience!

Don’t forget to regularly attend our volunteer days and sign up for our Punch Card system; regular attendees are awarded free tickets to special events every year!

Venue Rental

Our farm boasts gorgeous vegetable and flower fields, a view of 4 out of the 5 boroughs, a forty-foot-long table and several gathering and seating areas, an enclosed wash/pack barn with sinks for food processing and hand washing as well as refrigeration, and an indoor classroom area with seating for thirty as well as a projector screen. We also offer simple catering through our partners upon request.

Community Engagement Days

What They Are: We're happy to offer corporate/group volunteer experiences where you and your team work alongside our farm crew on seasonal activities like harvesting, planting, painting murals, bouquet making, and more. You’ll enjoy stunning views of 4 out of 5 boroughs, and every package includes snacks, take-home produce/flowers, and photos from your day! 

What You Support: Community Engagement Days graciously request partners make a donation upon booking. Your contribution goes directly back into funding our farm so we can continue providing free, meaningful experiences to students and community members, maintain our beautiful organic farm, and support our incredible staff.

Booking: We have three packages available to accommodate all the desired level of involvement for your group! Packages are as follows:

Standard Package: 3 Hours / Groups of up to 20

Supporter Package: 4 Hours / Groups of up to 30 / Lunch Provided 

Elite Package: 4 Hours / Groups of up to 40 / Lunch Provided / Sky Farm LIC Commemorative Post Cards
