P.S.112Q â Dutch Kills | Community School (Grades 3Kâ5)
P.S. 112Q is a vibrant and inclusive elementary school serving students in grades 3K through 5. As a designated Community School, we are committed to addressing the whole child by supporting academic growth, social-emotional development, and family engagement. Our school prioritizes chronic absenteeism prevention, mental health supports, and Social Emotional Learning (SEL) to ensure that every student has the tools needed to thrive both inside and outside the classroom. Through a school-wide SEL framework, we foster resilience, empathy, emotional regulation, and positive relationship-building skills.

P.S. 112Q proudly partners with organizations including Brighter Bites, The Fiver Foundation, Healthy Connections Psychological Services, COMPHS, Smile Dental, and Optical Academy to provide comprehensive services for our students and families. In addition to wellness initiatives, we offer enriching daytime residencies such as visual arts and drumming programs that cultivate creativity, teamwork, and self-expression.
