The new year marked an exciting milestone for Variety Boys & Girls Club of Queens — construction fencing is now up around our Astoria Clubhouse, signaling the start of a transformative new chapter. This long-anticipated redevelopment will reimagine and expand our facilities to better serve the Queens community for generations to come, featuring enhanced educational, recreational, and community spaces. The Variety Boys & Girls Club of Queens offers after-school programs every school day with a variety of educational and enrichment activities!
Registration: Open all year round
Dates: Mondays – Fridays
Hours: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM for grades 1–8 (ages 6–13) and 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM for grades 9-12
Programming: We offer Drama & Theater, Music, American Sign Language (ASL), STEM, Culinary Arts & Cooking, Photography, Film & Media, Fitness & Recreation, Dance, and Power Hour Study Hall for homework help.
