Corporate Volunteer Opportunities
In recognition of our corporate partners’ generous support and shared commitment to advancing opportunities for young people, the Variety Boys & Girls Club of Queens offers thoughtfully designed volunteer experiences that align with each company’s philanthropic goals. Corporate volunteerism plays a vital role in strengthening our programs, providing employees with meaningful, hands-on opportunities to support youth while contributing to safe, engaging, and impactful environments across our Club.
To ensure a high-quality experience for both our members and volunteers, we carefully manage volunteer opportunities throughout the year. Priority access is extended to partners whose support advances key organizational priorities and helps sustain and grow our impact.
While we welcome interest from all corporate partners, volunteer opportunities are limited and scheduled based on programmatic needs and capacity. We encourage companies to connect with our team to explore how their employees can best engage in service opportunities that create lasting value for the youth and communities we serve.

Sky Farm LIC is a one-acre rooftop urban farm and education program operated by the Variety Boys & Girls Club of Queens. Through hands-on agricultural and climate education, as well as unique features like on-site beehives, the farm serves as a living classroom for youth across Queens. Each year, we grow more than 4,500 pounds of fresh produce and distribute it entirely for free to local families, directly addressing food insecurity in our community.

The privacy and safety of the youth we serve is our top priority. Should a company wish to take photos of a volunteer engagement including youth and utilize for any internal (ex: staff newsletter) or external (ex: social media, website) communications a media/photo waiver needs to be collected and signed by a parent or guardian in advance of the engagement. Photos of program areas that do not include the image and likeness of Club members can be taken and shared. We request each company have one designated photographer responsible for taking photos in an effort to limit the number of phones/cameras present.
We request that partners allow time for usto review communications referencing Variety Boys and Girls Club of Queens or messages that include images of VBGCQ youth with the VBGCQ staff contact in advance of publication. VBGCQ will respect this same protocol as it relates to sharing content that references corporate partners. -
Should a partner wish to garner media coverage for an event, VBGCQ is open to discuss the opportunity. Should we find it suitable to allow media for an event, we ask partners to work collaboratively with VBGCQ to align on messaging, safety, communications and completion of media consent waivers.
